As 1 of the 11 new cards introduced during Children of the Worm, Out with a Bang is a great card to have on the team because it helps manage hordes after a player goes down.
What is Out With A Bang?
Out With A Bang is a Brawn type and Talent type active card that was added as part of the Children of the Worm expansion in Back 4 Blood. It has two effects:
- Give the player with the card 1 extra life
- Any player on the team will drop an active Pipe Bomb when they are downed
Card Synergies
Out with a Bang synergizes well with 2 types of cards: cards that enhance pipe bombs, and cards that also trigger from incapacitated players.
Enhance Pipe Bombs
All cards that synergize with the pipe bomb from Out with a Bang, apply only if the player with the card is incapacitated.
Pinata – This card enhances the effectiveness of Out with a Bang by giving a 10% chance to drop an accessory for each ridden killed. It’s a great way to stock up on accessories.
Improvised Explosives – 75% Accessory Damage, -25% Swap Speed
Demolitions Expert – 50% Accessory Damage, -15% Ammo Capacity
Grenade Training – 25% Accessory Damage
Trigger on Incapacitated Players
Inspiring Sacrifice – This card pairs well with Out with a Bang since they both activate when a player goes down. Inspiring Sacrifice heals all teammates for 20 health over 15 seconds.
Avenge the Fallen – This card pairs well with Out with a Bang since they both activate when a player goes down. Avenge the Fallen gives all teammates 30% Damage, 20% Reload Speed, and Unlimited Ammo for 10 seconds.
Cleaner Synergies
While all cleaners benefit from Out with a Bang, some will get more use out of it while on the team.
