How to Get The Weightless Spirit
The Weightless Spirit is obtained as a legendary random drop when completing Ghost of Tsushima: Legends missions.
Because it doesn’t drop from a specific event, the best way to get The Weightless Spirit is to complete Nightmare difficulty missions and Tales of Iyo raids for their overall increased chance of legendary drops.
Special Ability
Arrows don’t descend
Holds a maximum of 22 regular arrows and 6 fire arrows
In Patch 2.12, The Weightless Spirit was buffed to have:
- Drastically increased reload speed
- Increased draw speed
- Increased arrow velocity
- Increased maximum Fire Arrow count (from 3 to 6)
Pros
- Arrows fly faster and do not drop, making longer shots easier
- Increased draw speed and reload speed make firing consecutive shots much faster
- Players can hold more fire arrows than before
- Headshot Refund helps players extend their arrow count
- Can be used by any class
Cons
- Sugaru’s Sight can provide more burst damage
- Hunter’s can get more damage while targetting grouped enemies with the Skipping Stone Bow
Perks
The Weightless Spirit has 5 possible perks:
Helmet Piercing Ammo – Ammo from this weapon pierces helmets
These arrows bypass helmets to get consistent headshots. This perk goes well with Headshot Refund if you’ve leveled this weapon to 120 through the Gear Mastery System.
Headshot Refund – Instantly recover non-special ammo when landing a headshot from this weapon
One of the best perks for all bows since it gives players a chance to refill their arrow for each headshot.
Poisoned Ammo – Bow attacks have a chance to apply the Poison effect
Assassins with poison damage builds will get the most use out of this ammo type.
Sharpened Ammo – Ranged attacks have a chance to apply the Bleed effect
Not as good as the other perks and should be rerolled.
Shield Piercing Ammo – Ammo from this weapon pierces shields
Similar to Helmet Piercing Ammo where this arrow type goes through shields.
