How to Get the Wrath of Sarugami
The Wrath of Sarugami is obtained as a legendary random drop when completing Ghost of Tsushima: Legends missions.
Because it doesn’t drop from a specific event, the best way to get the Wrath of Sarugami is to complete Nightmare difficulty missions and Tales of Iyo raids for their overall increased chance of legendary drops.
Special Ability
Stance: Water
Regular Parry is disabled, Perfect Parry becomes a chain of 3 attacks.
Compared to Sarugami’s Glare, the Wrath of Sarugami is much easier to pull off and has greater benefits. Players can also opt to increase Perfect Parry time if needed.
This item will find the most benefit during Act III of the raid where players must duel Iyo.
It also staggers the enemy letting you perform a chain heavy attack after it is done.
This lets you stagger 3 enemies in one chain.
Wrath of Sarugami’s Perks
The Wrath of Sarugami has 8 possible perks:
Burning Blade – Melee attacks have a chance to apply the Burning effect
Intimidating Counter – Perfect Parry counter attacks have a 50% chance to also deal damage to nearby foes
Moon Stance – Allows switching to Moon stance (R2 + Square)
Poison Blade – Melee attacks have a chance to apply the Poison effect
Stone Stance – Allows switching to Stone Stance (R2 + X)
Way of the Flame – Ignite the katana to apply Burning damage to melee attacks for a short time (R1+ Circle)
Water Master – Inflict increasing damage with each attack in your Surging Strikes
Wind Stance – Allows switching to Wind stance (R2 + Triangle)
