The Damage Limit Break latent awakening was introduced to Puzzles & Dragons in the 19.1 update along with the Super Level Limit Breakthrough and high-end latents.

What Does the Damage Limit Break Latent Do?

Previously in Puzzles and Dragons, the damage cap was set at 2,147,483,647 damage.

Adding the Damage Limit Break latent doubles the owning card’s damage cap to 4,294,967,294 damage.

How Do You Get a Damage Limit Break Latent?

Currently, there are two ways to get this latent:

  1. Purchase through the “Monster Exchange” store. The latent will cost a total of 3 rainbow event medals.

  2. As a reward for completing various dungeons.

How Many Latent Slots Does It Use?

The double damage cap awakening uses 6 latent slots. This means that most cards will not be able to carry other latents. Some cards can hold up to 8 latents. In this case, these cards will have 2 extra slots available.

What Cards Can Use the Double Damage Cap Latent Awakening?

Only cards that have been Super Limit Broken can use this latent. This means you must:

  1. Level the card to 99
  2. Limit break with a cost 1 million coins and 1 Super Snowglobe Dragon
  3. Level the card to 110
  4. Super Level Limit break with a cost of 1 Billion coins and 5 Super Snowglobe Dragons

Because of the enormous amount of resources needed to make a card eligible for the double damage cap latent, you must be sure that it’s needed.

What Cards Should Use the Damage Limit Break Latent?

Cards that normally hit the previous damage cap of 2,147,483,647 damage are good candidates for this latent awakening. They tend to have:
