The Void Damage Piercer 
awakening, also known as VDP or Void Damage Penetration, allows the owning card to bypass the void damage dungeon mechanic.
What Does the Void Damage Piercer (VDP) Awakening Do?
The VDP awakening has 2 effects for the card and damage type used to activate:
- It lets the owning card bypass the Void Damage dungeon mechanic with the damage type used
- The owning card multiplies the damage of the VDP 3×3 square by 2.5x
How Do I Activate the VDP?
Players will need to match a 3×3 square of the same primary or secondary element of the owning card. Matching more or less than the 9 orbs needed will not result in a VDP. Below is an example of a VDP match of dark orbs.
