How to Get Petrificus Totalus
Petrificus Totalus can be used after learning the Disillusionment Charm during the Secrets of the Restricted Section quest. During this quest, players will be tasked with sneaking into the restricted section of the library while staying hidden by using the Disillusionment Charm.

- Players can use Petrificus Totalus by sneaking up on enemies and pressing Square (X on Xbox) when the prompt shows
- Petrificus Totalus cannot be used when enemies are alerted to your presence
- Use the invisibility potion to vanish from sight and gain the ability to use Petrificus Totalus after being spotted
- Part or all of an enemy’s health bar will turn gray if a player is able to perform this spell. The gray bar indicates how much damage will be done
