Moonveil Location, Stats & Upgrade – Elden Ring

The Moonveil is an Int scaling Katana in Elden Ring that inflicts bleed damage on enemies through its passive effect. It also has a highly effective Ash of War, Transient Moonlight, that sends medium-range energy blasts in addition to its slash.

Game Description

Unique Skill: Transient Moonlight

Sheathe blade, holding it at the hip in a composed stance. Follow up with either a normal or a strong attack to draw the blade at great speed for an instant slash attack. Both attacks fire off a wave of light.

Hold the Skill (L2 or L. Trigger) to sheathe the katana. Then press Attack (R1 or RB) for a horizontal attack or Strong Attack (R2 or R. Trigger) for an overhead attack. Both attacks will also send a wave of energy dealing extra damage. 

The Transient Moonlight Ash of War is unique to the Moonveil.

The Ash of War cannot be changed.

Moonveil Drop Location

The Moonveil is dropped after defeating the Magma Worm boss in the Gael Tunnel. The Gael Tunnel is located on the border between Limgrave and Caelid.
