Copper Scavenger in Back 4 Blood gives players two benefits:
- It makes finding Copper much easier. In the image below, the player can see 3 nearby Copper piles through multiple walls. Copper Scavenger can also highlight Copper piles through the roof and floors as well.
While playing a game with many Ridden and Mutations, Copper Scavenger makes it much easier to spot obscure piles of Copper and effectively improves the amount of Copper gained in every level. - More copper will spawn and increase the team’s total copper amount. While not as impressive as the first benefit, the two benefits synergize well since players with Copper Scavenger will get most, if not all Copper piles.
Pros
- Makes finding Copper piles much easier throughout every level
- Increases the max amount of Copper that can be gained for every level
Cons
- Copper-sensing ability diminished somewhat on teams that know where most Copper piles spawn. Although it is still helpful
- The Money Grubbers card gives more bonus Copper per level for teams that will pick up the majority of Copper piles
Card Synergies
Unlike most other cards in Back 4 Blood, Copper Scavenger can affect the whole team’s Copper total, especially if Copper is shared between teammates. Because of this Copper Scavenger can synergize with other Copper-focused cards when on the same player or even spread between teammates.
Money Grubbers – As previously mentioned, Money Grubbers in Back 4 Blood gives the most Copper for 1 card. Copper Scavenger makes it easier to take advantage of Money Grubbers.
Teams can have one person equip Copper Scavenger while another equips Money Grubbers.
Compound Interest – This card gives the player an extra 10% Copper at the end of the level. To get maximum value from Compound Interest, all team members will give their Copper to the player holding this card.
